Ezekiel 18 is a clarion call for personal responsibility, repentance, and the justice of God.

“The soul who sins shall die” (v.4)
“The son shall not bear the guilt of the father…” (v. 20)
“If a wicked person turns… he shall surely live” (v.21)
“Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked?” (v.23)
“Make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit” (v.31)
“I will judge you… each one according to his ways” (v.30)
“Turn and live!” (v.32)
