I’m New

One of life’s most beautiful words is family.
Anderson Baptist Church is a place where people can meet Jesus and engage in life-giving community.  Everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts, and use them for God's glory.  We invite you to experience the joy and excitement of the Anderson Baptist family. Our church is a friendly and caring fellowship, and we would welcome the opportunity to show you why. We would be honored to have you visit.
If you are looking for a church home, Anderson Baptist is the place for you.
Welcome HOME!

Where do I go?

When you arrive for worship at 10:45 am, you have two choices. English speaking services are held in the Mueller Activity Building. Spanish speaking services meet in the Rock Chapel. Children join both services for the music part of the worship service and then exit prior to the sermon for a combined Children's Church in the Mueller Activity Building. Nursery age children may be dropped off at 10:45 am in the nursery of the MAB. Greeters are located in the entrances of both buildings. Need directions, just ask!

What can I expect?

At 9:30am there are Life Groups for men, women, youth, and children followed by worship at 10:45am. A typical service will last about 60 minutes. We sing mainly contemporary music with a few remixed hymns led by our worship team.  Dress is casual. Come as you are...everyone is welcome. You can expect to be greeted at the door, ushered into building with a hug & a handshake, then joined by others as we worship Jesus together. Please introduce yourself to others seated around you. We want to meet you!

What do you believe?

"We accept the Scriptures as an all-sufficient and infallible rule of faith and practice, and insist upon the absolute inerrancy and sole authority of the Word of God. We recognize at this point no room for division, either of practice or belief, or even sentiment. More and more we must come to feel as the deepest and mightiest power of our conviction that a 'thus saith the Lord' is the end of all controversy."  -J. M. Frost

How do I join?

Before joining, potential members must have made a profession of faith in Jesus as Lord in their lives. Baptism by water immersion should occur following a profession of faith. All new members are expected to attend a Connecting Points lunch where they will be given an overview of the beliefs and ministries of our church, meet with the church staff to ask questions, and learn how to get involved using their God-given gifts and passions.
