R³ Devotional - Day 22 from Genesis Chapters 30-31

Jacob was blessed by a good and kind God even though there was all kind of sin going on.

Tricking
Jealousy between the wives
Strife in the family
Using bad judgment with the wives maidservants
God was good to Rachel by opening her womb and giving her a son. He was good to Labon even though he worshiped other gods. Labon was blessed through Jacob. Jacob with all his faults was blessed as well with children and financially.
I am not giving permission to sin but if God was merciful to them He is absolutely merciful to us as well.
Let us learn from their mistakes. Let us not take advantage of God's mercy or Grace.
Most definitely learn from the wives and not manipulate any situation because it never turns out well.
