R³ Devotional - Day 138
R³ Devotional - Day 138 - Psalm Chapter 26
By: Jose Maldonado
Real Life Principles:
Do you have biblical principles?
Do I truly walk in integrity? Is my trust in the Lord unwavering, or am I easily shaken?
Am I willing to be proven and tested by the Lord? What might He reveal about my heart and mind?
Is God's steadfast love a constant awareness in my life? Do my actions reflect a walk in His faithfulness?
Who do I choose to associate with? Do I distance myself from those who are worthless, hypocritical, or evildoers?
Do I approach worship with a sense of innocence and thanksgiving? Do I genuinely love God's house and the place of His glory?
Are there any ways in which I might be aligning myself with those who practice evil or seek dishonest gain?
Is it my firm resolution to continue walking in integrity, relying on God's redemption and grace?
Do I feel like my "foot stands on level ground" because of my trust in God? Am I ready to bless the Lord in the assembly of His people?
Relevant Life Application:
Make integrity a non-negotiable aspect of your life and consciously choose to trust in the Lord in all circumstances.
* Verse 2: Invite God's scrutiny into your thoughts and motives, being open to His refining work.
* Verse 3: Keep God's steadfast love and faithfulness at the forefront of your mind as you navigate your daily life.
* Verses 4-5: Be intentional about the company you keep, choosing relationships that foster righteousness and avoiding those that promote evil.
* Verses 6-8: Approach worship with a pure heart and a spirit of gratitude, recognizing the beauty and importance of God's presence.
* Verses 9-10: Actively distance yourself from sinful behaviors and those who engage in them, refusing to participate in their ways.
* Verse 11: Commit yourself anew to a life of integrity, constantly seeking God's redemption and relying on His grace.
* Verse 12: Find your stability and confidence in the Lord, and be ready to give Him praise and blessing in the community of believers.
Ready Action Steps:
Admit where you failed or lacked.
Believe on the Lord Jesus’s atoning sacrifice for sin and sinners.
Confess and demonstrate Jesus is your Lord.
